It is perfectly fine if you decide to pass and in fact, nobody should take for granted you’ll agree.Speaking of which, you most certainly shouldn’t ever say yes if you don’t mean it. In the long run, nobody will profit from you lying.Therefore, a ‘no’ can be fine, but it very much matters how you say it. You surely don’t want to say:“Hell no. I’m sorry but I have a life here” and end the conversation.No. You should always start by saying thank you and saying that you know what a fantastic opportunity this is. Especially in cases where you are on an interview or already working in one location while wanting to be considered for a relocation.Frequently, this will be taken as a health initiative and will be perfectly fine.Nevertheless, this attempt may still come across as dissatisfaction with a job at a current location and if so, the employer may not really like this.Especially in cases where a relocation includes a significant salary increase or you decide to relocate so that you could boost your promotion chances, it is important to be smart about putting those motives into words.It is probably better if you start with motives, such as challenging environment, learning and development opportunities, life change, different cultural experience, personal reasons (friends or family in the other location) etc.More specific grounds should follow only after this general introduction. At this point, you can mention something like better advancement opportunities or relocation as a condition for promotion etc.In many companies nowadays, it is perfectly fine and even admirable to initiate the relocation.Still, try not to offend anyone, skip the money/salary factors and finally, emphasize your overall satisfaction with the current location and position.Those who dear win, but you will want to avoid unnecessary risks.ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS WHICH COULD COME UPEven if you state your reasons perfec tly well and eloquent, be aware that an interviewer may keep coming up after you. It’s a great opportunity.A1: It truly is. If my situation would be even slightly different, I’d jump right on it. Nevertheless, for reasons I already explained earlier, I just can’t accept it. If something changes in the future, I would be more than willing to revisit this topic again.Q2: What if we improved the deal? Make sure to make the company aware of your interest in it. Make sure they know how much you would appreciate being given an opportunity.Ask questions about relocation to see if this is a right move for you.This one is important. You may be super excited to hit the road and move but asking questions will demonstrate an overall professionalism. THINGS YOU SHOULD AVOID SAYINGJust as there are some key points which should be emphasized, there are a lot more phrases and things you should simply never, ever say.I will try to enlist some of these below so do make sure to remember them for these (or similar) phrases can be a career killer:“Will I get paid more if I decide to do it?”I think it is perfectly clear this is a major no go.As previously mentioned, you should be very cautious when discussing money/salary issues.Being this opened about it is plain bad and will most definitely be unattractive for a person talking to you.Don’t just say ‘no’ if you are unable to move.As with anything else, simple ‘no’ is rarely a satisfactory answer. In an interview, almost never. A plain ‘no’, will almost inevitably put you out of the run for a position.Unless you really don†™t care, try putting some effort into explaining grounds for your decision.Do not definitively confirm if there are uncertainties about your ability to transfer.Again, honesty and transparency.I know you want to take the deal and show your absolute readiness but being honest will frequently be accepted just as well.On the other hand, lying and changing previously given statements almost never will.Pick up the courage and explain the situation.Trust me, this is way better than stressing out about letting interviewers know things you said no longer stand.Don’t be too vague / give answers which don’t provide any real informationTalk business. It’s ok not to reveal absolutely everything but do give some flesh to your story. Interviewers don’t like being fooled around. Saying things like:“I am not sure this is the right moment for me to take this step/ I am not sure this would be possible for me at this point” most probably will not come across well.Try not to waste other peo ple time by providing general statements.YOU ARE NOW READY…With these tips, you should be perfectly fine to answer the relocation question.And indeed, any answer can be a good one, as long as you put it nicely.It is a difficult question because relocation itself is a difficult and a significant move.Make sure you get your head, facts, and goals straight and provide a definite answer only after you are sure you know what you want.Stay polite, clear and humble and remember: you got this!

Strangely the vacuum cleaners at petrol stations do work on Sunday. Personally I think there is more to this than meets the eye. To identify the pattern one needs to consider German toilets. I am not sure exactly when they were introduced, but this has got to be the most nonsensical construction yet contributed to the world of anal fixations. Most loos have a little platform, intended to present your turd on a pristine, white ceramic pedestal. In this way you have no option but to be confronted by it when you flush. This continued forced exposure to faecal excrement has got to be the reason Freud came to be the way he was. The modern equivalent being the sin of washing the car on Sunday. Another way of looking at the â€Å"not on a Sunday† problem is to consider that Germany is the nation which has produced more car brands per capita than anyone else. Although one can equate the tender loving care bestowed upon the delicious contours of leather (jawohl) and plastic as resembling the worship of false gods. And where else do political parties fear the wrath of the electorate if the even suggest Freeways without speed limits are a bad idea? One could argue that a country where the government serves as debt collector for the church may frown upon waxing up the Porsche on Sunday morning (they would prefer to see you in church and getting value for your money), but personally I still blame the wonky toilets. It appears that I work towards a better relationship with my subordinates. At first, I thought I was more of a person that's more concern about getting the aspects of the job done. Now that I think about it I do tend to check on my coworkers to see how things are with them. My task oriented score is a very high score of forty-seven, while my relationship score is a forty-nine. With a higher score in the relationship area it shows that I try to make subordinates feel comfortable with themselves, each other, and the group itself. I scored a four with the first question, because I do sometimes tell group members what to do. I don't tell other what to do to be a controlling, but to get everyone caught up with a job given. I always act friendly with members. A friendly work environment can make working any job more comfortable. Occasionally, I set standards of performance for group members. An example of a time where I set a performance standard, is when I informed my coworkers that we need to work at a certain speed to get the task for today done efficiently. Making suggestions about how to overcome an obstacle at work is something I always do. My coworkers and I all put in suggestions on things we can do to get a job done. Also, when my coworkers and I all put in suggestions I respond favorably to everyone's opinion. I often make my perspective on things clear to others. When I explain my suggestions on things to my supervisor or others, I try to give a clear message of what I mean. While working at BestBuy I always treat others fairly. Treating everyone fairly help make everyone feel equal in an organization. I sometimes develop a plan of action for the group I work with. Sometimes I suggestion to my coworkers that we work on the more challenging task first so that in the end were not stressed out. I often behave in a predictable manner toward group members, because people know me as a cool and understanding guy. People say they feel I am more approachable because of the way I treat them. I rate myself at a four when it come to defining role responsibilities for each group member. I feel like everyone on the team should already know what is expected out of their job. While at work I always share my thoughts and feelings with others in my group. Denmark, Incest, and Uncertainty in Hamlet Shakespeares tragedy  Hamlet has a number of  major themes, such as  death  and  revenge, but the play also includes sub-themes, such as the state of Denmark, incest, and uncertainty. With this review, you can better understand the dramas wide range of issues and what they reveal about the characters. The State of Denmark The political and social condition of Denmark is referred to throughout the play, and the ghost is an embodiment of Denmark’s growing social unrest. This is because the bloodline of the monarchy has been unnaturally disrupted by Claudius, an immoral and power-hungry king. When the play was written, Queen Elizabeth was 60, and there was concern about who would inherit the throne. Mary Queen of Scots’ son was an heir but would potentially ignite political tensions between Britain and Scotland. Therefore, the state of Denmark in Hamlet could be a reflection of Britain’s own unrest and political problems. Sexuality and Incest in Hamlet Gertrude’s incestuous relationship with her brother-in-law plagues Hamlet more than  his father’s death. In Act 3, Scene 4, he accuses his mother of living â€Å"In the rank sweat of an enseamed bed, / Stewed in corruption, honeying and making love / Over the nasty sty.† Gertrudes actions  destroy Hamlet’s faith in women, which is perhaps why his feelings toward Ophelia become ambivalent. Yet, Hamlet is not so angered by his uncle’s incestuous behavior. To be clear, incest typically refers to sexual relations between close blood relatives, so while Gertrude and Claudius are related, their romantic relationship does not actually constitute incest. That said, Hamlet disproportionately blames Gertrude for her sexual relationship with Claudius, while overlooking his uncles role in the relationship. Perhaps the reason for this is a combination of women’s passive role in society and Hamlet’s overpowering (maybe even borderline incestuous) passion for his mother. Ophelia’s sexuality is also controlled by the men in her life. Laertes and Polonius are overbearing guardians and insist that she rejects Hamlet’s advances, despite her love for him. Clearly, theres a double standard for women where sexuality is concerned. Uncertainty In Hamlet, Shakespeare uses uncertainty more like a dramatic device than a theme. The uncertainties of the unfolding plot are what drive the actions of each character and keep the audience engaged. From the very beginning of the play, the ghost poses a great deal of uncertainty for Hamlet. He (and the audience) are uncertain about the ghost’s purpose. For instance, is it a sign of Denmark’s socio-political instability, a manifestation of Hamlet’s own conscience, an evil spirit provoking him to murder or his father’s spirit unable to rest? Hamlet’s uncertainty delays him from taking action, which  ultimately leads to the unnecessary deaths of Polonius, Laertes, Ophelia, Gertrude, Rosencrantz, and Guildenstern. Even at the end of the play, the audience is  left with a feeling of uncertainty when Hamlet bequeaths the throne to the rash and violent Fortinbras. In the closing moments of the drama, Denmark’s future looks less certain than it did at the beginning. In this way, the play echoes life.

This included transforming the company’s operations from regional ineffective company branches to an integrated globally compe titive organization. The company came up with the one-ford initiative whose aim was to reduce time spent in duplication and focus in high quality products instead. The new organizational strategy intended to make the Ford company products high quality and appealing to the global market. Ford’s business strategy focused on how to make a broad and sustainable strategy in order to remain competitive (Hoffman 2013). The rise in fuel prices and green technologies had called for a change of strategy in the motor vehicle industry. Ford Company decided to invest in development of affordable vehicles in the face of an organizational crisis that amounted to debt (Hoffman 2013). The company decided to break from using few important products to multiple affordable and accessible products. Ford was able to establish that most of the loyal customers across the world wanted safety, reliable brands and after sales service for customers (Hoffman 2013). Ford Company differentiated itself from other companies by investing in R & D. features like my-ford-touch and sync were only affordable in expensive vehicles. Ford Company has made products affordable to common man. The strategy has made a difference as the company has increased motor vehicle sales. My Writing Essay -- Personal Narrative Writing

My Writing In the past four years, I have written many papers for various classes, enjoying some and others having to choke out words to write down. In this memo I will describe my writing projects and how they made me become a better writer, and how they will continue to help develop me into a becoming a more prosperous writer. What I Really Learned in English 100 Well as a recent pupil of the Great McFadden I want to do all that I can to be on his good side, for he said that if I go one mile to meet him, he will go two miles to meet me, which seems more that fair. As an assignment I am told that I have to write what I learned in English 100 and how that it prepared me for English 200. Well since honesty is the best way of life, in my opinion, then I will be honest about what I learned in English 100. I didn’t learn very much at all in English 100, the teacher I had didn’t teach very well, and because of that, we all were on msn the whole time as he read from a book. Like most English classes we turned in our ruff drafts and they were returned to us with things we had to fix in order to receive a better grade. I also learned how to write a research paper that amounted to twelve pages, and many hours of hard dedicated work. Learning is an on going process, and a process of which one can never really stop learning. I would have to say I have an eagerness to learn. I usually learn fast and remember what it is that I was taught. I think it is very important in today’s society that a person should learn all that they can about how things work and how things are done for their own personal behalf. Having said that, I would also like to say that I like to learn what I am interested in, learning comes more natu... ...opinion on my paper would be a great help to me in making my paper better. I Like to Write About What Interests Me I am the type of writer who loves to write, but only really likes to write about stuff that interests me. I could write you a good story and my thoughts on running cause that is what I do, and it could be really good. Again you could ask me to write something on let’s say Global Warning and it could be so bad of a paper that nobody would want to read. I have not really written anything outside of my English classes before cause I am not interested in writing for myself. I do not think I am a bad write but I know that I am not a great writer. I love writing journals, and fun short stories. I just hope that taking these English courses will help me improve my writing skills, and to become more aware of what time of paper I am writing.

A Research on Effects of Alcohol Consumption on Academic Performance

Over the last few years, there has been an increase in the number of high school students who consume alcohol. Based on a study conducted by Harvard School of Public Health (1999), 44% of the students studied consumed alcohol and 23% consumed alcohol frequently.Alcohol consumers are likely to be involved in some alcohol related problems such as violence, car accidents, being injured and likelihood of losing responsibility in school performance. (Pullen, 1994). Alcohol consumption can lead to reduced class attendance, poor performance on tests and projects and inability to concentrate on the class work. The research paper therefore would like to find out whether alcohol consumption among high school students has an effect on academic performance.AbstractThis paper discusses the effects of alcohol consumption on academic performance among high school students. The paper aims at finding whether those students who consume alcohol perform better than the students who do not consume alcoho l and vice versa.Literature reviewAlcohol consumption is among the unhealthy behavior among the high school students that may affect their academic performance. Alcohol consumption is associated with behavioral problems such as poor academic performance.Many researches have been conducted to show the effects of alcohol consumption on academic performance among high school students. (Pullen, 1994).  There are no controlled studies on the effects of alcohol on academic performance. This is because it is illegal to provide alcohol to minors. Research done on adults revealed that alcohol consumption disrupts learning on adults and their ability to remember. However, the effects may be for a short period of time and their severity depends on the frequency of the drinking and the amount of alcohol consumed. (Pullen, 1994).In addition the few correlation studies that have been conducted to find out the relationship between alcohol consumption and academic performance among the high schoo l students has produced results that are inconsistent. (Pullen, 1994).On one side of a   national survey conducted, it revealed that heavy alcohol drinkers had a high likelihood of missing classes, having reduced responsibility on class work and also having poor performance on the tests done and the class projects than non heavy drinkers of alcohol. Other surveys have also revealed that alcohol consumption led to reduced grades in the class work as the students committed few hours on the class. (Pullen, 1994).On the other hand of the survey which was conducted between 3 different learning institutions, they produced varying results. Two of these studies credited that alcohol consumption and academic performance was as a result of differences among the students.There was a strong correlation of 0.32 of students who involved in alcohol consumption and the subsequent academic performance among the 444 in mid western University. However, this correlation was not significant when contr olling for school rank, academic aptitude and other variables. (Pullen, 1994).In the second study, it was revealed that the students involved themselves in heavy drinking but this did not affect the school performance. Centrally, the third study found a negative association between alcohol consumption and poor academic performance among the 754 students in the North Eastern liberal college.TheoryTo show the effects of alcohol consumption on academic performance Grossman model will be employed. This model shows that those individuals who invest less in their early lives’ health will not be productive and will be less successful than those who invest more in their health lives early in their lives. (Pullen, 1994).Basing this prediction to our study, it could therefore be assumed that those people who consume less alcohol in their early lives will be more productive academically than those people who consume a lot of alcohol in their early lives. It would be easy to assume that alcohol consumption reduces the student’s health on a long term basis.A lot of time is lost I alcohol consumption that the students only place less time in their academic work. These short term effects of alcohol could lead to poor academic performance, poor health and disruptive social behavior. (Pullen, 1994).It can therefore be concluded that alcohol has negative effects on academic performance. Students who consume alcohol in the evening have high chances of missing classes, spend little time studying, have poor academic grades and are most likely to experience education related stress. (Pullen, 1994).MethodParticipantsThe study will consist 120 students from the high schools in New Orleans. The rank of the students varied from those in the first years to the senior students in the school. The ages of the students ranged between 14 to 20 years. Both male and female students were included in the study. ProcedureThe study is no experimental in that it uses the correlation d esign to study the academic performance of the students’ inn relation to alcohol consumption.The students will sign up for the study or they will be recruited by the researcher when they attend meetings for the various students groups in the schools with the consent of their teachers. Because of issues of privacy, the students will not be required to sign the consent sheet.The students also will place the filled questionnaires in envelopes that are unmarked and the researcher will debrief them. The questions from the questionnaires will be coded and then analyzed to find out whether there is any relationship between alcohol consumption and academic performance.

In the novel One flew over the cuckoo’s nest by Ken Kesey laughter represents freedom and an escape from nurse Ratched’s restrictions. Laughter also proves a vital role in helping the patients deal with their problems. Not only does it help them deal with problems but it also gave them the push toward progress on getting out of the institution. Mcmurphy was the one who started making people laughing in the ward.
